Although I’ve always loved french dressing, the problem is that most savory french salad dressings tend to be heavy on stuff like soybean oil, or high fructose corn syrup, among a number of other unhealthy ingredients. This still isn’t exactly the lowest carb dressing in the world (because of the honey), but you can’t deny its deliciousness. I described the French version of my paleo salad dressing recipe here. If you are more of a fan of the “American style”, just add some ketchup and a spoonful of Worcestershire sauce and you’re done!

- 1 cup extra virgin olive oil
- 1/2 cup apple cider vinegar
- 2 cloves fresh garlic
- 1/3 cup chopped onion
- 1/4 cup tomato paste
- 2 tspns dijon mustard
- 1/4 cup honey
- 2 tspns coconut aminos
- 1 tbspn lemon juice
- 1 tspn salt
- 1/2 tspn pepper
- 1/2 tspn molasses
- Pinch of cloves
- 1. Place all of the ingredients into a food processor or blender. Process until smooth.
- 2. Place the mix into the fridge.
- 3. Enjoy on your favorite salad!
