haha – that’s summer weather on vancouver island! haha – i’ll be honest: living in toronto now, i adore the 10 degree weather (50 F). i like sweaters and sneakers more than strappy dresses. plus i can hide the wobbly bits

I was in SF last winter and I loved the mild temps all winter. The summers do get me with the high heat and the winters are far too cold. Fall and spring are my kind of weather around here and it just never lasts long enough.
Totally get you on the wobbly bits too. LOL I love to get to cover it all up.
Hi Jen, I’m Anne from Life on the Funny Farm (http://annesfunnyfarm.blogspot.com), and I’m visiting from the barn hop.
I’m with you, there’s something about that colder fall weather that makes me go soup/stew crazy. Or pot roast and veggies, as we had last night. These all look so good, I don’t know where to begin!
Anyway, it’s nice to “meet” you! Hope you can pop by my blog sometime to say hi…
Just left you a message.
And yes they are all very delish. You won’t be disappointed with one. Although depending on where you live you may have a hard time finding ingredients for some of the Filipino stews.
What a great line-up of tasty warming soups you have compiled here — the weather is certainly calling for soup! Thanks for sharing on Hearth & Soul Hop.
