DID VACCINES CAUSE MY SON’s AUTISM
Anyone who has read our blog for a while knows that we are very concerned about the over use of vaccines in our culture. There is mounting evidence that the US government refuses to acknowledge indicating that vaccines are at the root of many childhood diseases, allergies, and even autism. Adrienne @Whole New Mom has honestly shared her struggle with her son’s autism which she attributes to vaccinations as the symptoms worsened after each dose.

CO-SLEEPING: FRUGALITY AT THE EXPENSE OF SAFETY?
Although I am not sure where I come down personally on the co-sleeping issue, I have NEVER thought of it as an unsafe practice. Many cultures, including my husband’s Filipino culture practice co-sleeping and it has never been questioned as being a safety issue. Penny @Penniless Parenting discusses her opinions as well as giving a few statistics around the globe regarding co-sleeping after she was accused of putting frugality above her child’s safety. It’s so bizarre that anyone would be judgmental of a mother’s choice to care for her child in this manner which seems like such a very loving and unselfish thing to do.

Hi there,
I posted my answer for those days that the ground beef didn’t get pulled out of the freezer in time for burgers (Taco Salad) as well as the fourth in my series on empowering kids on special diets!
(If you are interested in learning more about how our family has dealt with the challenges of getting the kids on board with our special diet, you can listen to an interview that Andrew Cordova of Gluten Free Recipes for Celiacs posted on his blog!)
I also posted my review of Wheat Belly, but then realized that I do have amazon affiliate links to the book in the post. If you read my review, though, you’ll see I’m not exactly trying to “sell” it!
I’m sorry if I violated the rules, my feelings won’t be hurt if you take it down!
